I read prior posts and it looks like Shooters, Q Sharks, and Billiard Street Cafe are the popular spots. However, I'm in downtown for a work conference and have no car. Anyone have a recommendation on a place near downtown? I'm willing to cab it, just didn't want to have to spend $30 each way.

Jimmys Pro Billiards is on Central Ave not far from downtown owned by Jimmy Wetch

Billiard Street Cafe, in Fridley, has been called Two Stooges for at least the last couple of years. Nice room...good equipment...cute waitresses.
