just how good or bad were these tables

I saw an ad for a Minnesota Fats brand table. just wondered if anyone ever played on one.

I'm pretty sure they are sold by Sears. Not very good quality at all.
I don't know if the playing surface is slate or just a compressed wood material.

Just went to the Sears site and got this info: •3/4'' Dura-bond playing surface.....so it's not slate.

" back in the day" his brand quality was decent, not top of the line, but not terrible. He did have one " pro quality" table (barely) in the table line but most were pretty cheap. Even more so now.
