Minor Pet Peeve about this forum

Is it really necessary to have the entire first page of main forum posts taken up by sticky threads? How about one or two sticky threads and then a third with a link to all the other ones?

Pet peeve of mine aswell. I usually only use the "NEW" button but when I do
look into a specific forum it ticks me off.

I can't say I e ever really read more than one of them and after noticing them the first couple of times on this site I instantly scroll over them to get to the good stuff lol. I'm sure there's a reason for them but I def hear what ur saying

C'mon you guys. There's got to be something more important going on in the world of pool besides worrying about 'sticky threads'.
Besides, the reason they're called sticky threads is that once they're put up, they can't be taken down. They're stuck there because they're so damn sticky.
Mr. Howerton tried removing them with a heat gun and scraper, but it didn't work.
Mr. Wilson called a professional 'sticky' removing company to come and take them off, but they couldn't do it. Said they'ed been stuck up there too long.
