Mint 2005 Richard Hsu 6pt cue

The cue is 19.5 ounces approximately. 2 shafts, one @12.75mm and one @12.85mm. Cocobolo forearm and buttsleeve with 6 Maple points in a high-low configuration, white with brown specs linen wrap. It could be an ivory buttcap, but do not know - I think it is. The joint is black phenolic with a 3/8x10 pin. Single silver ring at ABCDE.

Had this cue for around 6 months, used probably 40-50 racks.

I think it is a good deal and is intriguing. I believe I looked him up in the BB one time and liked what I read. I like 13mm shafts and so I would pass on the cue. I do think the butt is really nice and at that pricepoint it is more than fair. You seem to get some good ones.

Did you buy this cue from Christian Smith in NJ? He sold one exactly like this. If so I have played with this cue and it is a real nice cue. Nice look, great feel and a nice hit. Good luck with the sale.

What a stupid statement. You obviously have absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of cues or cuemakers. What do you play with - a Fury??

Richard Hsu is an outstanding cuemaker out of New York; I have one his hi-end cues in my case RIGHT NOW. Beautiful points, Ivory joint, Ivory ferrules and ivory buttcap. The butt itself is almost exactly like Roscoes - top-grade, highly-figured Cocobolo which Richard spent years normalizing and turning.
He makes everything piece of the cue himself, by hand, in his one-man shop.

And his stack-leather wraps have other CM's scratching their heads. They're so perfect, like concentric circles instead of overlapping pieces.

The hit of a Hsu can be compared to ANY top-notch CM in the business.
I wouldn't dream of selling mine, as Richard's cues are sure to appreciate in value.

Roscoe, that's one hell of deal on a very fine cue.

BTW, it probably is an ivory buttcap on yours. I've seen alot of Richard's cues, and he likes using ivory - especially next to that gorgeous coco.

U tried to smear a honest cuemaker's reputation on a previous post by stating that his cues are warped and had bad finish, and 3 of the AZers returned the cues. When i asked u to PROVE those allegations, u went down under.
Now u come here, and give ur two cents when it was NOT APPRECIATED. Whats with u?
