Eric makes some of the best playing cues on the market today. For the $$$ dollar for dollar his cues are the lowest price good hitting cues, you might have to spend $5,000 to get a comprable hitting cue. While the arrow dosent make the archer, having a GREAT playing cue makes pool feel better and more fun. No cue is going to make anyone a better player butI firmly believe you can play better with the right cue. Erics cues are in the playability class of Gus, Barry, Black Boar and Balabushka. I know thats a big statment, some people might say its internet hype, its not I will tell anyone that on the phone or let them hit balls with my Sugartree. Its a subjective personal opinion, overall Gus/Barry's cues play a bit better but its aweful close. Eric is right up there.
Infact I keep one out as a house cue here at "Fatboys Crib" for players only-not bangers. Pleyers who dont recognise who made it awalys say the same thing "Damn thats a nice hitting cue, who made it?" I have heard that from atleast a dozen players over the past year. I have only had one player who didnt like it and that was only because of the weight, he likes real light cues-18oz range. I have one friend who plays here 3-4 days a week, a B- bank pool player he uses it 10 hours a week for he last 3 months, I took it to Germany 3 times I think, maybe 4 and used it there.
I'm not trying to create a market, or push this cue, etc. I just like to share my experiences with things in pool and this is one of them.
