Super Sweet cue!

If I hadn't bought a second Mike Cochran cue in the last few weeks this cue would be mine. I like everything about it! Especially the joint!
Great cue! Great price too!
Nick:)

Hit Man....

GORGEOUS cue, sir. I did have my eyes on that cue during Valley Forge...and should have bought it before you came swooping down to take her away!!! :) :) ;)

Thank you much for giving me the first shot, sir....but as much as I'd love to have this one, too........I just got in on a Ginacue, which takes me out of the running.

That said - let me add this for any prospective buyer :

THIS CUE IS SICK!!!!! ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CUES I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. EXECUTION OF THE POINTS, VENEERS, AND INLAYS IS FLAWLESS, THE BALANCE IS PERFECT, AND THAT CUE DREW A TON OF ATTENTION AT BILL'S BOOTH. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS CUE!!!!!

Wish I could buy it, sir....but I only have the one kidney left!! :) :)

Best of luck on the sale.

Mark

Man..this is a nice scrugg...mine has the same joint, is the butt cap ivory?

Regards,
Duc.

Bump for a super nice Scruggs

Thank you for the kind words Mark and best of luck with the Gina. I kept you in mind if I was ever ready to part with it.:)

This cue drew a crowd at the Cornerstone booth for sure and I feel very fortunate to have gotten it. It's kinda strange that with 1/2 a million dollars worth of cues on Bill's table, lots way more fancy than this one, that it got the attention that it did! I think large in part that most players know you simply cannot buy a better playing 2k cue anywhere on the planet.

I have no problem whatsoever with putting it back in the case for a dozen years or so, or till I'm tempted to play with it again. It's definately some of the sharpest point and veneer work that you will ever see on a custom cue!

Someone should hit me up soon on this one! Ebony is coal black, almost scary!

Butt cap could be synthetic but not 100% sure. It does have a Lt. grain to it. I exchanged emails with Mike Cochran about the cue but neglected to ask.

Nice Scruggs!

Bump for a very nice Scruggs. I’ve seen the cue in person and it is all that it is billed to be. I was very impressed with the perfectly even and sharp point work. You can’t go wrong with Ralph either; he is a seller that can be trusted and a pleasure to deal with.

I didn't get an answer to my question...but I'm certain this was the cue I saw on Cornerstone's website...and at the Valley Forge Expo. That being said...it is indeed one of the sharpest cues I've seen in a long time, with a simple, classic, yet striking design...and an absolutel fabulous veneer combination.

Scruggs 4 pointer

oh, sorry Hayden. Yes it was the cue you were looking at that was for sale by Cornerstone.:) Thanks for asking.

It's a tough market for cue selling

Thanks for the kind words Vinny.
Being that it's a tough market for sellers and cuemakers alike, and knowing anything is only worth what the next person is willing to pay, understandibly, I'm willing to listen to reasonable offers with serious interest.
