"Miracle" Chalk

Last year a bunch of local players were buying a new type of so-called "miracle" chalk for $30 a cube; and saying that it was so "good" that you only had to chalk once or twice a night.

Did that happen anywhere but here?

And ummm . . . . . what ever became of that so-called "miracle" chalk?
 
It's still there. Still 30+ dollars. Still a miracle. But the hype and chalk wars have subsided and now it's just another thing to buy if you want it. I don't even know where my piece is.

2. People still buy it and use it.

Things change

After a complete break from the pool world for a brief period I was shocked with some changes when I returned.

* $30 chalk
* template racks
* a profitable market for aiming systems
* Earl's huge cue

Actually that last one was not quite as shocking when I considered it for just a minute. :-)
 
If you don't use the product why would you be concerned if some else does? This is the second recent post on this subject and I just don't see the logic.
