I had someone ask me where a thread had gone...it of course was not showing up, like we have had in the past. I did a comprehensive search and found it that way. When I went back to find it where it should have been, it truly was not in the listing even though the search said it was.
He asked me to find a thread (he could not remember the title) that had less than 30 posts about a bushka and a boti that had a post on it from less than a week ago. So I did an "Advanced Search" for balabushka in the post, selected Find Threads With at most 30 posts, and Find Posts From a week ago or newer. Then I searched the results for the most recent ones.
There is was.
I was able to read it and everything. It is called "serious Bushka and Boti question." However, it said it was located in the forum at AzBilliards Forums > Main Category > Wanted/For Sale. So I them went there and sure enough it was missing.
So yes there is a glitch and no one is conspiring to make your threads disappear. But you can find them again.
NOW as an experiment, I went and posted to that thread and low an behold nothing happened. So I went to the Main Category and saw that it was the newest post for Wanted/For Sale. I clicked it there and YES!
It showed back up in the listing.
Man, was this alot of work, but I'm sure it was well worth it. Good Luck in getting you posts back! I hope this helps some of you recover you lost threads!
