All the great and good pool players in Mississippi/ Alabama can check in and tell about themselves and their pool halls in their states! I thought it was about time for these guys and their states to get some attention!

They used to have their own forum. Go to southern billiards.com and go to forum. Should find what you're looking for.
 
It isn't nearly as active as it used to be. There are some great stores posted there in the old threads.

Professor Gilmer died a few weeks back. Hated to hear that.
 
The Shadetree lounge is a pretty descent sports bar that a lot of guys stop and play at. They have a 9 ball tourney 4th Saturday of every month. Been some good players from Memphis and Alabama coming down.
 
Bama Billiards in Tuscaloosa, AL is owned by player Harold MacAbee and is a great new place. Nice equipment, action, and tournaments.
