Having lived through those yrs, it's not fun or enjoyable for me to see the ''beat down'' side of this era.

Then Kennedy, who supported freedom of the blacks was murdered, by his own.
I was in HS when this white man got murdered by another white man because of his beliefs and the constitution, that we are all created equal.

Was in automotive shop High School when the announcement came JFK was dead. Was hard to imagine.
 
Sorry, but hopefully my soapbox for the year . . .

I remember. Not one of us can afford to forget, either, because there are roads which must never be traveled again, under any circumstance. Our world is small and gets smaller every day. While some folks knew back then, by now everyone should have realized certain truths: all men and women are brothers and sisters and every child born belongs to us all.

Incredibly lofty ideals, but what is the worst that could happen if we could all think and live in this manner?
