This is new, had a go on the weekend.
I love the idea of NOT relying on mainly leagues for Fargo Rate for the majority of players. Too few games and often so far apart it can be easier to sand bag as well.
I wish more tournaments at the lower levels used Fargo Rate, when a player buys in with $50 entry you can be sure they play their real skill level.
Getting results in ASAP is very important. If an organisor sends Fargo an email and it takes weeks to be entered, that is no good when a player takes part in any event based on their Fargo rating.
So, things like this are good for the ratings IMO.
The more the merrier.
Only people who seem to be getting their nose out of joint, are the odd league operators that think they own Fargo Rate and have their mates on teams managing their handicaps.
BCA Pool App finally working here in Sydney, Australia, so every game submitted can be checked vs. History in the Fargo Rate app as some players claim not all games get submitted in an attempt to game the Fargo Rating of players. I would call that fraud when you have prize money in play.
I hope more people work with Salotto on formats like this, so far they are the only partner working direct with Fargo Rate outside of BCA league to get near as instant results submitted.
