Moconi Cup on TV this year?

I have to say that I am more interested in watching the Mosconi Cup this year than ever before. To me there is a lot of intrigue:

1) How will the new USA team play?

2) How will Europe respond?

3) Will an increased level of emphasis on the part of USA to create a better sense of “team” be successful? If so, will the better relationship between the players create better results?

This last year, I was only able to find two “episodes” of the Mosconi Cup on my television. I think it was on one of the 94 Fox Sports channels. Given the commotion after last year, and the changes this year, I wonder if Matchroom will work to make the match more accessible to Americans via television?

Does anyone have any information on this?

Who do we talk to in order to ask that more matches be televised this year?

My thoughts.

1. not well enough to win, I would say they'd get to 6 or 7 match wins.

2. they are probably happy to see the line up coming against them.

3. the team part for US will be better. The ability to WIN, I don't think so.

If you want to watch the Mosconi Cup, your best bet would be to look on the forums for web links to the broadcasts. Make sure you install an ad blocker as those sites are filled with ads and spyware.

I think right now the best chance for the US to win is to have 2-3 US players and 2-3 Philipino or Asian players in the mix. SVB is SO far ahead of the other US players it's not even funny. Well, maybe a little bit funny. If we had a team with 3 Shanes and any other 2 top 10 or even top 15 or 20 US players, the US will win. Maybe even 2 Shanes and 3 top 10 players. One Shane and 4 other players is a 50/50 chance for the US at best, and is probably a 25-30% chance of a win.

Somehow I doubt we will have any live coverage on American television. We will get the usual edited coverage a few months down the line.

When the time comes there will a bunch of members scouring the internet to find the online feed, Someone usually comes up with one or two that work for some and not for others. Hang around and look for the threads once the show starts.

I don't understand why a PPV system couldn't be set up to take my money. I, like most others on here, just want to watch the event. I tried to give my money to them for viewing this event. Frustrating.
