I have an extra copy of Modern Billiards, which was the main instructional book from the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Co. It's mostly about ball-to-ball billiards, but it does have some more interesting shots, like below. $10 for shipping and it's yours.

Too late, Larry. It's gone to a local carom club.

If you would like to get a copy, here is a good list of used books. Be careful, because there are modern reprints which often are done very poorly.

The 1891 edition is quite a bit larger than the others and has the diagrams printed in green rather than black.
