I asked about it on friday and was told it appears the idea is bubblin up again.

50$ entry would be a mistake though, imo.

You only played in 1 & cashed 3rd above some tough competition, I'm sure you'll get your $ back & then some.

Yeah but he's talking about everyone else. @ $50 it will probably be half or less than when it was running before.

Yep...the more the merrier, ya know.

Absolutely BB, but knowing the folks around this area and quite honestly it's probably like this in a lot of places when you start talking $50 for a weekly / monthly tourney half of those that would otherwise play just aint, period. Not saying they're nits but as you already know a decent portion of those playing in that are dead money and they know that going in. They don't mind donating for the fun, experience , and learning but there IS a limit what that experience is worth especially when talking about a weekly or monthly event.

One Pockets tournaments work better when allowing monthly payments for the entry fee.

Not exactly what you're getting at but I phrased it that way because this monthly tourney was actually a weekly at one point.

Yeah I agree totally. Honestly for you and I and quite a few others there is absolutely no difference whatsoever between $20 or $50 but for a lot of folks it's a huge difference for whatever the reason. I'd be down either way and might just have to come out of retirement lol😆

I'm the moron who started the 1-P is so slow thread.

I understand and I love 1-P as much as any player.
