Moori (weird)

I'm putting on a moori quick for a buddy,
Stupid thing won't adhere, 3 times it pops off while starting to trim.
I get more than a little pissed and throw it in a bin.
I am looking through this bin and came across the tip.
It seems as though the glue runoff was all on one side,
I don't know why, but it expanded along the unglued side and looks weird.
All I know is I've never seen this before!

I don't know if this is bulls-it or not
but even Kamui's are not adhering well as my cueguy has had
major issues with them. What I've heard is that some tips are being
sprayed or soaked in some kind of solution to keep the tip from
drying out and going to the crapper.I guess its suppose to be like
putting preservatives in food for a longer shelf life.Could be baloney
but made sense to me when I heard it.

Had the same problem a while back. Found on the Cuemaker's Forum that priming the tips with thin cyano makes them adhere better. Not had a single issue since I started priming. I do this with all tips now.
