In all seriousness I think Billy Jay is either cuetech shooter or someone who is very good at imitating his writing style. I say we all bet some v-cash on who we think it is, and Mike can find out for us by checking the IP adress. My money is on cuetech shooter.

I will admit you had me going until you got to the part about beating your cue against the chair (or something like that).
It was very funny, and no you're not a dick. I'm laughing out loud now. I'm gonna go back and read it again.
As far as BJ goes, I haven't bashed him yet, and I'm not going to. I don't think it's right. It's making some very good reading though.

Glad my thread entertained you lol. No offense taken. Sometimes I can't tell if people are being serious with me or not because it's just words I'm reading and their is no tone of voice to judge with.

I'm sitting here thinking about what type of person would continue to tease a poster who many believe to be either a child or a person with a mental disability ... not to mention what kind of person starts stiring the pot again.

No one can begrudge you the right to speak for yourself, but it is extremely presumptuous to claim that you speak for others. Besides, from what I have read, there is no consensus, only a variety of opinions.

Well, I have to agree with Marissa. I work in the MR/DD field and I can say with 99% certianty, that unless this guy has Asberger's Syndrome he is not Mentally retarted. And even Asberger's Syndrome is a far fetch from being really mentally retarded, though the Supreme Court, I believe, recently ruled that is was. And please look at his word choices...he is no child. For that matter look at his visiting times. No kid would be on an adult message board at that hour...unless they were old enough to know better. Heck, my 9 year old nephew doesn't even know what a message board is, let alone how to work one. :rolleyes:

Oh no I didn't. My nephew knows the internet. He has been accessing it since he was 3...I kid you not. However, he doesn't know what a message baord is AND he is not un-supervised while online.
I am not qualified to diagnosis...I only have a BS degree, but out of all the counties that I serve like 3 clients could even access the internet, and only one with out having someone there beside them telling them how to spell and instructions for private messages.
You have been dupped, IMO.

Go back and read it again Scott, my point in that thread was that trying to eliminate an entire industry because the actions of a portion of that industry are immoral is immoral itself. The people I was defending do not partake in "wholesale slaughter". These folks are trappers running a trap line catching wild animals one at a time, not wholesale slaughter of farmed domesticated animals. Sorry you misunderstood. And btw, bjt is a human, not an animal.

Thanks for clearing that up, because my initial impression of the post(s) you quote was that you didn't think the activities in that video were so bad. For the record, I agree with you about taking away "true" trappers' livelihood, and I am a proponent of hunting, etc.

In my non-professional opinion, bjt is someone having fun with his/her posts and we are doing the same.

Actually, if he is a human, then by definition he is an animal! I doubt very seriously that plants or fungi would be able to connect to the internet to mess with people...lol.
