Skip sent me some pics of mine a couple of weeks ago but he had been unable to spray the finish on it because it was too humid. Hope it dries out in Jersey soon!

Well it's all dried out in Jersey now, so hopefully Skip is spraying our cues as we type!

Very nice Zack, my cue is nearing completion as well. Haven't asked for any pics, I want to be wowed when I walk into his shop...

It's one thing to be wowed by the cue, it's a whole different ballgame to be WOWed!!!! By the price, I think price should always be discussed.

Man, I hope so! I just don't have any idea how much or little relative humidity that Skip needs to do finish work. I'm sure that he knows better than we do. Realistically, I'd rather wait a while and have a great finish job than have him rush things and have to refinish though.

Not to anyone inparticular, Zack had said (early on) the cue costs a bit more then he quoted. I was just saying it's fun when the cue wow's you and not the price.

Sorry, I meant that the jps cost more than what I had originally said here on AzB. It was a change that Skip and I dicussed not Skip telling me that the cue is now more than previously quoted...lol. Sorry for the confusion.

To me it's well worth the price, I really love those JP's they dress the cue up. Love em. Skip does very nice work.

My post was a QUESTION, "Ivory INLAYS in JP's?" Ivory or Faux Ivory, or What?

Curious as to weather the Inlays are Ivory...?

Sorry for the misunderstanding bruce. Yes, the inlays are ivory and the rings are ivory, ebony and snakewood. The butt joint cap also has windows of snakewood and cocobolo.

What's wrong with ivory inlays in JPs?! I think they look awesome...lol. Then again, I'm sure you won't like the cue because you already said it looks like a guy with a plaid shirt and striped pants!

I'm not trying to say anything dead, but when I posted the first progress pic Bruce said that he didn't like it and that he thought it clashed, like plaid shirt and striped pants, or vice versa.

Soooo, I guess as long as you don't wear your plaid pants with a striped shirt around Bruce I think you'll be okay.
