more high level 3c play

low and some right
It took that effect because he hit it thin enough/ at the right spot on the red, Plus it may have curved a tiny bit with as hard as he hit it
If he hit it alittle more thick it would have reversed around the table Or atleast head back away down table
If you look a the angle separation of the cue ball and the first object ball, they are at slightly less than 90 degrees which means that the cue ball had slight follow when it arrived at the object ball. It also had a great deal of right side spin which is why it had a lot left on the third cushion even though it struck the first cushion at a reverse angle.

Jaspers is still ranked #1 in the World and played superbly in this Tournament. Just caught FC in an unknown gear. Jaspers has been there before too, several times.

interesting to me that the 2/and one of the 3rd place had better averages and high runs than the winner
the korean player who came in third inspite of a low (comparably) average
how does that happen
if the averages are indicative of how well you play
also

The tournament is single elimination. You might have two horrible games at the start but your opponents play worse. That ruins your average. Then you get used to the tables and play well to win, but your average is low.

The full results for all matches are available on the UMB website.
