More Pros Playing Next Year on the NCI tour?

I would think more pros than came out for the first NCS tour will try the second one this year. The qualifiers are cheap and a chance to go all expenses paid to the World 8-ball championships would be a good deal for someone with no sponsor and can't afford to travel to tournaments far from their home base. Maybe I'm missing something here, but it sounds like a good deal to me. What are the negatives I'm missing? Johnnyt
