Ain't it the truth. As I know you know, most times the chairs are filled with family and friends of the players and the players themselves, sad to say.

The VIP and Skybox (most expensive) seats were pretty full, but there were plenty of empty seats for all but the final. I think they did pretty well with the "gate". The picture you are referring to was some of the entrants and others matching up in the back rows. Those seats were at floor level, not on a riser, at the foot end of the table...the least desireable seats, but yes, there were empty seats. Obviously the Televison and associated rights will make them far more $$ than the admissions.
