I'm not sure what you are questioning, but here's a thread that shows the individual records for all the players in the 2013 Mosconi Cup: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=343268.
Note that Earl participated in 5 matches, of which 4 were losses. His only singles match was on Day 3, a loss to Boyes. As I mentioned before, he did play well on Day 1 in the Team Match, where he won both games he played even though the U.S.A. team lost 6 of the 9 games played in that Team Match.
As to Day 3, Europe led 8-2 going in, needing just 3 more wins to wrap it up. Earl played in the first match (Match 11 of the event), with Hatch, in a doubles loss to Appleton and Souquet. Then Earl lost Match 12 to Boyes. Then Hatch and Morris lost Match 13 to Immonen and Feijen to end the event. So SVB and Archer didn't get to play on Day 3 because of the 3 losses in a row. Whether the U.S.A. would have done better using a different order for the picks on Day 3 is unknowable.
at 4am, i don't have a clue what all of this means - but i DO know, that i LOVE you Honey!
albeit, your stats are bringing back VERY BAD MEMORIES from Mosconi....
which is entirely MY fault for asking.
but i APPRECIATE your time & trouble! i'll review in the morning & pose if further questions.
YOU ROCK!
