Mosconi Cup 2022 - Press Conference

Yep, Emily is kind to the eyes. I suspect that's why she got to choose those horribly colored balls. Interesting exchange between Earl and Jayson.

Hope Earl keeps it together and does well...I'd love seeing him shoot Jayson's liver out.

That press conference was great until they gave the mic to Earl then it went to shit. But that is what most of you guys want to see. Earl has issues.

Correction:. Earl used to have issues, now he is the issue.

It's like leaving a block of cheese out. First it develops a bit of mold, then the mold spreads. Eventually you look at the pile and you stop saying that it's moldy cheese and you just say that it's mold.

The cheese could have been saved if the first but of mold had been cut away. Similarly, I wonder what would have happened if Earl had gotten thrown out of events the first times he threw tantrums.

Can't believe I'm defending this guy. Have you ever watched boxing/ mma press conferences where you don't know the language of one or both of the fighters? It losses some of the hype for me.
Nothing wrong with defending him. I have come close to doing the same.
After spending a month in Europe I was amazed at how many Euros speak English very well. In fact most speak multiple languages good enough to get by.
I felt somewhat uneducated due to only knowing one language.

You’d also be much more likely to speak another language if you lived in Pennsylvania and the people living in Ohio spoke French. So you can’t really compare the percentage of multilingual people in the US vs Europe as it’s not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

Yes I completely understand why. A second language is something that still amazes me. My father was fluent in German and Czech. My Daughter, Mandarin, Spanish, and conversational in Russian. A second language is not in my wheelhouse unless you count cussing in Spanish.:giggle:
