Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

the UK commentator said he spoke to Moritz about it, and apparently he does it as part of his pre-shot routine once he's sure of the shot he wants to play. Thinks it helps him focus
Yeah....but it's mental. Another 5 years he will be picking invisible lint off the table like Archer.

could've played the tickle. too thick

Plain and simple, not what you want to hear from your captain.
Seems to
Me they all came into this very low energy No real team vibe. And it shows by the play, seems to be no sense of urgency. As far as the event it is an exhibition, a Festival more than a tournament, but the fun is rooting for your team … Go USA … but maybe next year we can bring in Savanna Easton.. 🤔

I don't own a jump cue so I'm completely ignorant about how difficult jump shots are. David Alcaide jumping over the ball he's snookered behind only for it to bounce over the object ball, would you consider that a mistake by the player or is it just unlucky?
A mistake of sorts....based upon how far out he wanted to shoot the cueball.

Get a dedicated jump cue like a predator air or others....you will be jumping in 5 minutes.

Sky should not have been chosen as a captain but Emily likes his good ol’ boy persona so here we are.

It’s been evident for a few years now that Sky isn’t focused on the game anymore. It seems like he knows he can make a decent enough living bringing his B or C game to events and that’s good enough for him. Making an extra $20k + whatever bonus the captains get probably helps too.

Looks like they cut Day 3 to 4 matches instead of 5. Makes sense. Even though this is the one night where tickets were sold out.

Does Emily actually like pool. Whenever I see her in the background she's on her phone not actually paying attention to the pool
Bruh stop complaining and enjoy the show. Her engagement to the match means nothing. I'm not the biggest Emily fan but she is CEO and running a business, cut her some slack.

What about when Skyler and Fedor were on their phones DURING a match at the Reyes Cup while getting stomped?

Just imagine tomorrow's the last day & USA takes the first 5 games, then its a tie 8-8 and we already 5 games in & approx at 1AM in the morning, what happens next? Extend one extra day or keep playing until 6am to finish it off? Just a thought.

I've said this scenario might come to play since they cut it short on day 2, and it still a possibility you know.
