Personally I think the sort of continuous rising note thing when someone is down on the shot is fine. I think shouting randomly when they are down on the backstroke is more of an issue, that's the kind of thing that makes you flinch and miss a shot. Some idiot shouted Europe just as Mouritz was about to hit the ball on one shot.

Boyles actually said he preferred when it was noisy when he was down on a shot. It's when it goes silent for a big shot that he felt the pressure. I can totally relate to that. My pool claim to fame is I beat Jayson once (was only over a single frame in a team tournament). But it was a hall full of drunken guys, multiple tables everyone watching their own teams match. As my game with Jayson went on, the hall got gradually quieter as people started noticing I had a chance of causing a massive upset. By the time I was on the 8 ball it was complete silence. Made it 100 times more nerve racking
 
any1 else hate it when opponent finishes his shot but remains at the table to see the leave? this is one of the most things that irritates me, this and my opponent holding his smart phone the entire match....
 
I looked up some stats, and for my surprise the Calibar of Fedor his stats in the Mosconi is very very bad....then I looked at Earl the Pearl Strickland stats when he was young, dare I say it...Earl had a very very high win ratio in Mosconi it was ridiculous.

Nah they're out this rack. Right....

He did dog that but he had insurance since the 3 was tied to the 9. Or maybe he tried to put spin on it to break up that cluster and the cueball ended up swerving. Kind of jacked up too.

Came to post this exact thing. Billy was a rock.
As I mentioned the first day, Billy can get energized and amp up his teammates.
That's the only advantage he has over Oscar. (and banking of course)
