Mosconi Cup Coverage and Discussion Dec 10-13.

Is ESPN3 the same as ESPNGP3?

I followed the link, had to verify I am a customer by finding my cable provider from their online list. I then had to log on to my cable provider online console. Then I was right in.

This DOES have restrictions. Go there now and try and watch something. You will have to verify that you are a customer of an ESPN affiliate.

Good luck!

Ray

You're right. I got lucky and am a customer of Comcast/ xfinity.

Who the heck gets ESPN3? I get ESPN 3D,ESPN,ESPN2,ESPN Classic, ESPN Alt, ESPN U, a zillion fox sports channels, but not ESPN3. My TV\internet provider, CenturyLink\Qwest\DirecTV isn't on the list of allowed providers either.

This is the Govt's fault. The FTC will not allow sky sports to broadcast in the US. They won't allow Party Poker to advertise in the US.

They ruined the IPT by not allowing online gambling, they ruined the Camel tour by not allowing tobacco companies to advertise. This is exactly why there is no pro pool tour in the US.

This kind of thing is shitty. It seems that every time I want to watch a pool tourney I have to go through a screwed up cycle to view it. When I'm trying to view or buy a product I am told no, we don't want your business. I know a lot of the issues involve the law but a lot of it is poor planning. It may also be that we on AZB are so few that the broadcasters could give a damn.

Since I'm on a B****ing roll, let me throw another problem. Whether or not an event is streamed, there isn't a reason not to have bracket updates somewhere or at least a tourney update posted somewhere.

Fans of pool have to work hard to find pool entertainment. Someone out there should have some good ideas to improve the situation. I wish I could offer some constructive ideas other than complaints.

1. Follow this link: http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/type/upcoming/startDate/20121210/#

2. Click Watch now button

3. Find your TV cable provider from the list ( some connect automatically **mine did not) Then I proceeded to step 4

4. Login to your TV Cable provider online acct to verify you are an ESPN affiliate customer. *** If you don't have an online account for your cable provider, go set one up. It's primarily used for account management but it's also used by ESPN to verify you are in fact an affiliate customer

5.Click the tab labeled "upcoming"

6. Click "Mon 10" tab

7. scroll down for "Billiards"

8. on Monday the 10th at 2pm est click Mosconi Cup

Just go to ESPN.com and register. That's where I am so far with this.

Now I can watch ESPN3 Live Streamed events.
There is some football going on right now and when the Mosconi Cup starts I should be able to watch it. Hope everyone REGISTERS with WWW.ESPN.COM
and we all get a chance to watch The Mosconi Cup matches LIVE.

Get synced in with the ESPN3 thing before Monday.

I think this will be one of the most competitive Mosconi Cups in recent history. I'd like to see Earl and Corey on the team too but there just aren't enough spots.

Many Europeans think they are going to smash the US Team. :rotflmao1:

I asked one of my Internet buddies from across the pond that was doing a little fun-jabbing at me this morning, how he liked his crow; baked, broiled or fried. :D

listen to JoeyA and go get linked up to ESPN3 NOW!!! It's has a couple of unique features to get connected and it will help addressing them ahead of time.

Another way is to find a foreign VPN service (not based in USA, GB, or Ireland) and pay a nominal (or free if you're lucky to find one) fee, then goto the Matchroom Sports link and it will determine that you're not subscribing/viewing from a restricted region and allow you PPV.

That sounds like a great suggestion!
