Mosconi Cup Dream Team

I dreamt that I went to the 2013 Mosconi Cup.

The United States team was awesome, led by returning Captain CJ Wiley. CJ was stoked to be back as Captain saying that he had learned so much from his first attempt that he wanted this chance to bring the Cup back where it belongs.

His team consisted of;

Earl Strickland
Scott Frost
Cory Deuel
Shane Van Boening
Dennis Hatch

CJ said, “A perfect balance of skill and grit, a team that I feel can develop chemistry quickly and will not be easily derailed.”

The European Team, under Captain Steve Davis, of Mika Immonen, Niels Feijen, Darren Appleton, Thorsten Hohmann and Chris Melling put up a good fight before succumbing to the relentless pressure of the American team.

Woke up with a smile!

p.s. I'm not sure, dreams can be confusing, but I think that I remember a crazed female fan screaming at me that a Canadian should not be allowed to dream.

The first part of your dream seems to be taking fruition. They will be doing a "pre Mosconi Cup" documentary on Earl Stickland that should be interesting. I presume with a documentary in his honor that Earl will be the first chosen player and Johnny Archer would be a close second. imho

Rodney Morris does have one of the best MC records of all time, so he's certainly a possibility.

Yes, my wide awake choice would include Rodney. Archer would also seem to be a natural selection although not mine (see team chemistry).

I do think that you should have another go as Captain based on experience gained last time.

I do think that Scott Frost, a player that I was not really all that familiar with before Bonus Ball, would be a great addition.

It is difficult to choose 5 when there is such an abundance of great U.S. players. For example, my heart says give Mike Dechene another chance, he is a winner and, once over the new teamitis jitters, would shine.
