Watch some of it on YouTube and I had to turn it off it was unwatchable. I can't stand the way the audience acts and I can't stand the way the players act. Maybe there's a market for that maybe that's what people enjoy but not me.

Ok. Talking MC only, i have no clue about other stuff. They've showed the MC since it stated. In fact they helped start the whole deal with Hearn in '94.
It's gotten rowdier and more like a zoo, I am not a fan of it either. Best watched on mute LOL

The problem is when they do this sort of thing and it becomes the norm. If this is apparently how they want it to be in the Mosconi cup more power to them, but it's not pleasant to watch. It's a shame that bad manners, arrogance and rude behavior are becoming the norm.
You guys REALLY need to chill. Its a once a year made-4-tv exhibition. Its lasted over 30yrs and tons of fans love it. Try showing old-school traditional 14.1 on tv/stream. That shit wouldn't last one year.
it's not. in 99% of pro pool events the audience consists of two dozen guys doing golf applauses. and the players are polite. this event is "let's be tribal for 4 days" but it's definitely not setting a norm
its EXACTLY what its owner, Matchroom, wants. They're selling entertainment nothing more.

Oddly enough one of the matches came up cuz I was going through youtube. At the end of the match at 4 4 the american player shot the eight and got good position on the nine which was almost in front of the hole. The crowd started screaming like crazy and sure enough he missed it. An almost unmissable shot he missed. I got to assume it was due to what was going on in the room and him not getting off the ball and waiting for it to calm down. The crowd actually made him Miss.
