The Mosconi Cup web site says he has an overall record of 20 wins and 23 losses, compared to 21 wins and 25 losses for Shane.

So break that into a percentage & tell me whose is better if you can't grasp it by looking at it.
 
good showing of the youngsters, a shane win now and it isnt as bad as it was looking the whole evening......

Are you really trying to argue that a 47% win record over fewer than 50 matches is appreciably different from a 46% win record?
 
So far the score is going according to my call, but I picked the wrong doubles match. I picked Shane/Rodney to be the only match USA won today, but instead it's Woodward/Bergman who came through.

Unless Darren is still suffering from "neck pain", it's difficult to see Shane stealing one away, but that's why we play the game! Come on South Dakota Kid! Figure out a way so we don't go into tomorrow down 4-1

No, what I'm arguing is your original statement about keeping Shane but not trotting the others like Morris & Dechaine out there when Morris has a better percentage & has been a part of winning more cups than everyone's fair haired boy Shane. That your comment isn't supported by anything. Nuff said

I'm open to an argument about the pros and cons of dropping Shane from the team but it would be difficult or near impossible politically for the captain to exclude the clear #1 individual player, which is why I focused on the other two (Mike D and Rodney).
 
darren missed that 5 but it still dropped...

shane had a good break but gave himself horrible cueing on his shot at the 2 ball and missed. Darren likely to run out for 4-2 lead.
 
By this point the fans are pretty drunk and obnoxious. This referee is weak as shit too. I think he dreads the Mosconi Cup.
 
SVB does not play his best in Mosconi, but he also gets some nasty rolls. Instead of scratching off jump daz leaves it right over the hole
