I have never understood why everyone gets so riled up and excited about THEIR team winning, when the person getting riled up ISN'T playing...they are sitting on the bench WATCHING it on TV or whatever.
I'm the type of person who likes seeing a game played to PERFECTION, or at least as close to perfection as possible and I DON'T care who the person is who is doing it, or where they are from or what team they are playing on.
I have always thought, "may the best man (or woman) win". If you lose, then obviously you weren't the "better" player for that game, that set, or that match. It doesn't mean you aren't amongst the best, it just means you weren't the best for that particular occasion.
Aloha.
