Mosconi cup on ESPN TV question?

I watched the Mosconi Cup live on ESPN 3's Internet station via the links provided by Bigtruck and others.

Question: Does this mean that it was live for regular Cable TV subscribers, on their regular Cable TV feed (not via an internet site)? I don't subscribe to Cable TV (I have rabbit ears), so I'm not familiar with the various flavors of ESPN 1,2,3, infinity...

If it was truly live for regular Cable TV subscribers, I'd say that was a signifiant accomplishment for a billiard event in the recent past.

Thanks for setting me straight, either way.

ESPN3 is internet streaming feed that is available to cable subscribers to cable plans that include ESPN.

I think ESPN3 was sharing Skysport's feed, which might have been world-wide TV, Jay said in another thread something about 4 million viewers.
