The players have already been chosen, FWIW.
That said, Dennis Hatch has had a recent change in his life. Because of it, he has dedicated himself to shooting pool at the highest level. Previously, Dennis was juggling a 9-5 job, a relationship, and playing pool part-time.
He just defeated Oliver Ortmann at the 14.1 tournament at Steinway yesterday, and he also defeated quite a few other strong players in this event.
I caught a snippet of him playing Oliver. That Oliver is a cutie pie, BTW. :grin-loving: Dennis is playing extremely well right now. Corey is always a great player, and I am not taking anything away from his power by pointing out the current state of Dennis Hatch's play.
Dennis did succumb to John Schmidt, who seems to be taking no prisoners in NYC this week. It's down to the final four, I think, and John is the lone American standing.
