What time does it start?
Where is a / the correct stream link?
How much is it?

All I've seen is December 2-5, and who's playing. I think like most pool events it's been piss poorly promoted, with not enough info out there for the customers/viewers.

starts @ 11amPST tomorrow, here @ Vegas.

i don't know about anything else - except that Mirage is telling everyone that it's @ the Grand Ballroom (there are FIVE Grand Ballrooms....), and it's NOT. it's down a totally DIFFERENT hall/section @ the OPPOSITE direction.

and the only reason we know it starts @ 11am, is because we picked up our tickets tonight. plus, Johnny & Earl told us earlier.

My point exactly, nothing in pool is ever organized. Not AZB can get the info to us, matchroom can't get the info to us, and the players well how could you EVER expect them to get any info to us, they just want it over tomorrow so they can be paid.
 
This is from KK9, on site in Vegas. Too lazy to log in on Pink's computer. Just relating a lil thing or two that happened today.

So our AZ's Vagabond and us exchanged #'s. He called. Pink and I were at the venue, checking it out, @ 12 people getitng rather technical. We ran into Jerry and Ken, exchanged pleasantries. My goodness, never seen anything but smiles and passion from either! The venue looks amazing. More tech than any venue I've ever seen, and half a mile of green seats. Pink put her biz card on the two front headboard seats, lmao.

Earl is reputedly in the practice room. (@ 5000 sq ft with ONE Diamond table that 2 balls got no biz getting into). He wasn't there.

So we go to the front Mirage bar to meet an unknown AZer - Vagabond. OMG. This dude ain't what I'd envisioned. Red shoes. Red diamond studded belt. Silk suit. He's the freaking triple nutz. So as we sit there, along with a Brit named Lee (not Brett) and this beautiful women that's having her 30th (B-Day), I spot someone come in the front door. JPParmentier!

I weave over to him, shake his paw. Back to the bar stool. My bud EZ Money and his hottie Susan show up. Then up pops Johnny. Greetings are exchanged. Then up pops Earl. Then up pops Shane.

Then all hell breaks loose.

Perhaps you know there's a volcano in front of the Mirage. JP, our resident photog, leads the entire US team outside. We go onto the strip where official pic's and vi'ds are taken. It was a hoot. Got to meet Buddy for first time. Team members were all in red. But not Buddy. He was in a black jump suit, with a BLUE shirt underneath (that's Urup's color this year).

So I am totally giving Buddy shit for wearing blue. "Buddy, WTF? You get no red?" He looks at Pinky and says "Yo, if you happen to go by the Big and Tall, please get me a couple 4XL red polo's". LMAO big guy!

Earl proceeds to hold court. "Ï'm the best athlete in the world! That golfer Phil Michelson? He's a döughboy! Shane, I have a run coursed out, let's go!" Fuggin priceless.

Rodney and Hatch were doing their best not to spew. Johnny was all biz rocking his black suit. People walking down the strip were all WTFing. Pink was all "these are the best pool players on the planet, we're filming Ocean's 6, get with the program, it all starts tomorrow!" They started snapping pic's.

A bit afterwards, my good friend "fat Albert" shows up. We go to Johnny's room. His lil sweetheart daughter, Le Ann, is wearing an adorable sequioned skirt. Johnny was thereby advised to help win the Cup or else. Then I got the hiccups.

The end.
(actually, it's just the beginning....GO USA!)

Looks like Fox Sports 2 is only showing 2 hours of Mosconi Cup, and in the U.S., only certain cable providers are showing Fox Sports 2. For example, my Comcast doesn't have it. :(

The only way to watch it is if you are *not* in the United States, unless you use that website http://www.hidemyass.com/vpn/ that somebody mentioned, is this livestreaming from http://www.pool.livesport.tv/ -- $4.95 for the entire event. Now, that's a deal! :cool:

If you are *not* in the United States, you can see the entire thing at skysports channel. :p

All of us yesterday who couldn't get Skysports channel, because we're in the U.S., watched "The Strickland Story" here: http://firstrowus1.eu/watch/193916/3...skysports.html

Maybe we will get lucky, and they will feature the Mosconi Cup live on that channel again today. Fingers crossed.

So the ESPN3 link that worked for last year does not work?

I don't know how they can manage to keep the largest market on the planet for consumer goods blocked from purchasing something without going though black market ways. They must hate money.

At the time of this writing, my cable provider Comcast, which last year did carry it on ESPN-3, is not listing it. I hope that changes.

I am going with the link I posted above that I watched "The Strickland Story" on last night. Everybody is complaining that they can't watch it, and I have posted that link on various threads at least a dozen times. :grin-square:
 
On my provider here in Saint Louis, for Fox Sports 2 it's still listing some Nascar show (kill me) and some "Crowd Goes Wild" show at those times. I recorded it anyway hoping for a miracle (I of course have to work during each day of the thing).

PS Those times being 5 ET as that's when I was told it would be on Fox Sports 2. I believe it starts at 11 AM Pacific time (had to edit this as I thought Vegas was on Mountain time for some reason).

When I try that link it comes up with an error message about not being able to contact some server.

But it seems the FOX sports thing is available to my cable provider (Charter in the Worcester, MA area) so I may be able to catch the 5PM. Although I don't actually subscribe to FOX Sports, the online portion may work, if there is one. At work so can't check too much.

I will miss the live stream due to work. Does anyone know if it will be re-played anywhere else?
 
Facebook hacked

I find my facebook account hacked, thus can't log on to watch Mosconi Cup..anyone have a site that's working, or does it not start until 2 PM est time,such as New York ??
