Does anyone know if the event will be streamed on the internet? I suspect I won't be able to receive whichever channel it airs on :(

I know it will be broadcasted live on Sky Sports here in Europe, as usual.

Don't know it that channel is available on Sopcast or TVUplayer, though...

Doubt that Matchroom will offer any streaming on the net.

Americans will probaly have to wait months after when it airs on espn.:(

if there is ONE event that should ever be shown live in the US, it is DEFINITELY this one! Or at least on a delay, something!

This is like the Ryder Cup and Davis Cup... people follow these events for these sports when they would never watch Tennis or Golf on a regular basis.. they do it because they want to see their country whoop another country's ass. The powers that be in pool really need to try to make this happen.

If for nothing else we might at least get to see Earl swing one of them arm weights at someone.

I can't believe this won't be streamed. What a shame for American Pool. If they can't get the Cup on TV what the hell does that say for getting any other tournament on TV. This really sucks. Johnnyt

Last year Matchroom offered a PPV stream of the event. If I remember correctly it was something like $25 for the whole thing. I bought it last year and their stream was real good. Can't believe they won't do it again.

Yeah you could pay to watch the 2007 event live on the web, for a great price too. It hasnt been said they wont offer it again this year, I remember Luke Riches of Matchroom Sport saying they are looking to make the webstreaming a big thing, or something along them lines, so would be shocked if they didnt offer it again. :)
