I am going to attend the Mosconi Cup this year. I see on ticketmaster they have individual days or the 4 day package. I don't think I can go all 4 days. What are the best days? I was thinking 12/2 and 12/3... the first two days. For some reason I thought in previous years it was only 3 days. Any help is appreciated.

Go Team USA!!!!

If it was only 2 days then I would do day 3-4.... The thing is, day-4 may not happen, and if it does, it a shorter day. But, when we win, your'e gonna wanna be there for that.Final day is the best...IMO. Especially this year.

Ok, so days 1-3 happen for sure and the 4th day could be cut short or may not happen?

It is a four day event that could possibly end in three days if it's a landslide for one of the teams. It's hard to know which days are best; each day is exciting, you'll miss something no matter which days you skip. The first days definitely have a lot of energy, but the third and forth days can have a lot of crazy tension and emotion as the matches play-out.

All that being said, it always sucks to miss the end of the race, so maybe days three and four are the way to go (understanding that day four has a slight possibility of not happening)?

Cheers

I think I will just get the 4 day pass for myself and 2 days for my girlfriend. She can go shopping or something

It's 4 days. Monday Dec 2 - Thursday the 5th.

If you can only attend 2 days - Day 3 is a must. Day 4 is a gamble worth taking IMO. One team parties like crazy after it - I know this, because someone always takes pictures. ;)

Day One

Keep in mind that after play on day 1 the BCA Hall of Fame dinner and induction dinner for Jeanette Lee and Barry Hearn. The Mosconi teams will be there as well as other players. The dinner is at the Mirage. See the link below or on the Home page at AZB.

If you're going to go for only a couple of days, you should pick the first two days as America will still be in it then.

All joking aside.. any day is a good day to go.. I have been 4x

Hey can anyone tell me what happens at the hall of fame night? I've seen the poster advertising but it doesn't tell you much about what to expect with the ticket?

Thanks! Lee

At $95 a seat I am a little curious as well. I am interested but more details would be nice. Does that include a meal? It is a easier sell if they do.

There has been a banquet meal the last couple of times and I'm pretty sure there will be one this time. I think one year (at the BCA trade show in Charlotte?) there were only snacks and drinks but the tradition has been a full meal.

At the last one there was an extensive video presentation along with dinner and a small amount of speechifying. It has varied a lot from year to year.

The ticket includes dinner. The is a meet and greet before the dinner starts. There will presentations and acceptation speeches from the inductees. Definitely a one time experience.

Since being taken over by the USBMA (US Billiards Media Association) the dinner has been very nice with a full meal and 4 or 5 speakers. There will be picture and autograph opportunities and both Mosconi Teams will be in attendance.

If you can, order your tickets directly from the Mirage. They are cheaper that way.

I just got the first two days directly from the Mirage - and yes they cheaper directly from the them, 1-800-963-9634.

Thank you, Bob!

If anyone hears that they are adding more seats/tickets to the final two days, please post here so we know. I was only able to get the first two days :( No packages left either.
