Moscow Day 1 results (SPOILERS!!!)

Maybe the real US team went to the "Moscow" open and not the Mosconi Cup as planned? :boring2:

Hey! I just got to Moscow, there's no pool event going on here! WTF?!?!?!

If you want your air fare back just lump on Europe if that last game was anything to go by!

Big match for Bergman to halt momentum shift and Neils looked wobbly in team match

Neil not letting his early miss get to him, playing super steady as you would expect.

Justin only had a two rail kick which he made but left a length of table shot which was enough for Neils to wrap up the opening frame.

USA won the team match hill-hill (1st of the day), Mike missed the first ball after making 3 on the break but lucked it in and ran out. USA is up 3-2 in the doubles (2nd match).

That's what I'm talking about. Thanks!

Feijen is a veteran tournament soldier, which helps him in a competitive environment such as this. He's been there and done that. ;)

What the f*** sorry i dont know that Bergmann well, but how he plays is Impressive, how he Defeats His Chancen... Very nice, Last Game was pure luck on our side, but that happens. Want to See more of him

Neil plays like a champ and runs out a comfortable winner 5-2 to make it 2-1 Europe.

He also shows his class by correcting the presenter who said Justin missed in the last frame when it was a bad contact instead and not Justins' fault

Big game now for rookie Sky as if Europe wins this history tells us that US loses the last match too so could easily end up 4-1 Europe. Lets see.

SVB looks like he's on the practice table and takes out the first frame and has a shot on the two after his break in the next frame.

Iceberg melted but Sky's the limit!!

Justin missed the 7 in two different games. The last one definitely skidded on him and the first one looked like it may have as well. Feins craps in the 7 2 rails to win - very lucky roll for Europe on that match.

Sky looks like a grizzled veteran. Lock up safes and making critical shots like he was back home in Kentucky. It looks like he is really embracing this format and that is fantastic news for USA for years to come. Great pick by El Capitan!!

SVB and Sky play great to run out convincing winners 5-1 to level the cup at 2-2.

Now it's time for the fireworks, SVB Vs. Appleton, here goes!

SVB being crushed by Appleton just now, running away with it at 4-0 needs one frame to give Europe the overnight lead.

Can SVB reverse his poor Mosconi singles record?! Got it all to do now.

Nope. A glimmer of hope by taking out frame 5 but Darren makes a HUGE cut along the bottom rail to break and run out 5-1 winner to give Europe 3-2 overnight lead.
