Most Memorable Match.

Memorable ...

I have a few, but one that always sticks in my mind was just a BCA 5 man
match play in league with Terry Young years ago. Terry owned Rumors Billiards here in Wichita, a 2 time National Champion, and when he was playing tournaments back then, had beaten the #5 and 6 pros at the time.

Terry won the toss, broke and ran the table.
I broke the 2nd game and ran the table.
Terry broke game 3 and ran the table.
I broke game 4 and ran the table.
Terry broke game 5 and ran the table to the 8 and was partially hooked. The 8 was about 5" off the long rail. He went for a rail first kick on the 8 down the long rail to the corner and it just missed. I proceeded to run the table.

I won the match 38-37, and that was the most competitive league match I ever had, and almost a perfect match.

Great stories. I have this chick friend that I hangout with and one night this goober(ex-boy friend) at a pool hall would not leave her alone so she told him if he could beat me she would leave with him and it would be "just like old times for that night." I don't recall much about the pool match other than I beat the guy pretty soundly....Don't think I'll ever forget that night though as she is very valuable to me and it was an interesting evening

Good story, DM and I'm sure she is valuable to you,,,BUT,,, what did the Goober put up against a girl of such value?
