I'm in South Central Pa. Lots of snow last night. Last night was to be the last match of the 8-ball league I play in. (not handicapped) Our team is in 2nd place and it being the last match with the finals starting next week, we probably won't be able to make up the match. It won't really effect the team much, the worst that could happen is we'd fall to 3rd and still be in the finals. (depending on which teams actually managed to have there matches last night) However there is also an individual competition. I'm in second place with the first place player well ahead of me as of two weeks ago (the last time I saw stats). He was shooting just over 800 and I was 776 I believe. Would have been tough to over take him but I thought if I went 12 and 0 for the last three matches I had a chance if he didn't play well. The last two weeks I went 8 and 0, so I was 2/3rds of the way to my goal for the last three matches. I haven't heard how he has been playing, but with the cancellation of our last match I don't think my average will go up enough to overtake him no matter how he shoots. I mean this guy isn't going to lay down anyway. I didn't figure it out but if I went 4 and 0 each of the three last matches and he went 3 and 1 each night I thought I might have a chance. Oh well, thanks a lot Mother Nature.
I do have most clean sweeps wrapped up I believe, but I've never won both in the same year. There always next year (don't you just hate saying that!?)
