Now that the IPT has come on the seen alot more money is out there.

My questions for any professional player who has time to respond is this: If the IPT grows into something as big as the pga would you put more time into improving your game? With the added money could your game reach a level that you have not experienced?

It's not so much the money, though money motivates of course.

It's more the opportunity to play pool as a career, without having to hustle, travel all over looking for small action. Instead there is the possibility of 8 -14 big tournaments each year that are run professionally in fantastic locations around the world and that it could provide a secure future, or at least make the time diversion from a career an attractive proposition.

Surely these incentives will improve player's games.

If it reaches the 20+ million a year tour totals talked about, and continues at that or better levels for 8 years, I'd expect the lowest ranking players on the tour to have stats similar to how Marlon performed in the recent KOH event.

10 years after big money entered snooker, the level and depth of play increased incredibly.
