Moveable Table

This could be a brilliant idea or just the ravings of a sleepy, coffee-deprived madman...

For tables in spaces that have obstructions you could make the table moveable.

The simplest solution would seem to be to have the table rotate on a center axis.

So put the table on a "Lazy Susan" huh? Well putting aside the difficulties of just keeping a table that moves like this level, what would be stopping the balls from moving around as you rotated the table?

Hmm, maybe every ball in the set can be made with metal in them, like the cue balls of bar tables, then you could activate a giant magnet under the table to hold them in place?

Lol

....or you could just make the entire house rotate around the pool table! That way the balls won't be affected! LOL.

Silly....just plain silly!

This is funny. Thanks for the laugh.

For sure, but now my brain is aglow with the possibilities if all the balls could be manipulated with magnets. For example you could build an automatic rack setting system, with the balls pulled into a perfectly tight rack by magnets. You could also build a training system that allowed balls to be automatically placed in set positions for drills and reset after a missed shot.

lol - I was thinking of something a bit more tame than a giant centrifuge. Possibly something with an electric motor.

The post is in the way so you move the table a foot....

I don't think my idea is a bad one -- it just needs someone to figure out how to execute the solution.

This is getting a bit closer...
