I moved a nine footer Proam two weeks ago and there ain't nothing to it, you need a Diamond table cart and four or five friends. The cart is the real deal to the move now the leveling can be very different than any other table so get Realkingcobra to move and level.

i moved my 9ft diamond myselve.
rent a truck: 70$, and u need 2 people....
i live in an appartement with no elevator.
me (i weight 102pounds for 6ft.... ) and my g/f's father moved everything in the truck, drove to my country (i bought it abroad), moved it to my floor in the staircase and installed it.
its a good workout, but its doable... i even think that 2 persons is easyer then 4. just keep the plates verticle, and be gentle...
now a pro will come level and fit the table. saved me 200$ doing the transport myself.
but anyone saying that only a pro should move tableparts... mm sorry but i think thats bs

Solartje, I think you are confused between the different models. The Diamond Pro AM is a big bar-box style table which comes with a one-piece slate.
I think you have bought a Diamond Professional table, which is more dismountable (as Brunswick, Clash and Gabriels type of models)
So a complete different model with a different apporach when it comes to transport and installation !

The Diamond ProAm 9ft weighs about 1,300 lbs, because it's fully assembled. The one piece slate weighs 618 lbs by itself. Even for myself, at times it can be a serious pain in the ass, but well worth it when the job is done, and I'm 6ft, and weigh 260lbs...LOL

We moved my friends proam on a wood floored trailer with the lawnmower loading gate removed and it was very stable going about 7 miles after lashing it standing on its side with 5 big ratchet straps.
