Moving table from Alabama to Raleigh

A friend of mine wants to buy a diamond in Alabama and move it to Raleigh.

What is the most cost effective way of doing this?

If the table can be delivered to his house he can take it from there. Any input would be very helpful.

Uship is where I would go to have it move. Is it the 7' table at Bumpers? I had thought about buying it but I am looking at a 9'. Average price is between $1-3 per mile is what most shippers charge.

Lol if it had been last week I could've picked it up and set it up. Now I'm about 2weeks out from going that direction again. I think.

Cost effective? If he can go get it himself is to rent a 5' x 8' Uhaul I would think.

Diamond was very reasonable when I bought and had my table delivered and set up, and again when I moved across town. They were cheaper than the local guys I inquired about, and I knew they would do it right.
