Hey Blacked-Balled, here is a nice P3 sold in Michigan

But you get a $15 value joint protectors free! I never understood the market for expensive Predator cues, or Joss or McDermotts for that matter. They cost the same as getting a cue made by a real custom maker to your specs and inlays without the personal touch or value holding.
With high end production cues you pay and get it right away if in stock.
No multi year wait or putting up with delays and excuses.

The cue comes with a 8” extension. The cue is comparable in price to other P3’s.

I wonder if John Schmidt is getting a small pc of the action.

Predator hasn't designed much new over the past 4 years. Color changes and giant logos are now all that they seam to offer. This cue would have been celebrated and timely a couple of years ago... Now they just look silly introducing it years later and after Shaw ran 714.

You can also get a used or new but already built full custom from a maker. Depends on the maker also, when I got my cue built, it took maybe 4-5 months from wood selection to me playing with it.

4 or 5 months! You got lucky.
I've heard horror stories.
A friend of mine here in Colorado had a local well respected cue maker make him a really nice custom,it came out great.
But it took 7 years!
Seems this guy needed instant money from repairs to stay afloat.
He also was making cues for collectors in Japan that paid big bucks so my friends cue was a low priority.

The horror stories are not typical of most custom builds from my experiences
