To let all the azers that we lost a great hall of famer cue maker and a friend. Rich Ford aka the skunk.

I never met Mr. Kohara but I have seen his cue workmanship up close. In my opinion, he had a unique, creative mind designing cues and his butt sleeve patterns rank with the best of the best......elaborate, intricate inlays & veneer arrangements.......most were just awesome to behold.

I've been hanging in pools halls around the USA since 1962 and I never heard anyone, anywhere express a negative thought about him which seems amazing. I wish I would have had the pleasure of meeting him in person just so I could tell him I'm a enormous admirer of his work.

My thoughts to his family

I've had the pleasure of owning several of his cues. They've all hit great and had a unique flair. He certainly left his mark and his work will be around for a very long time. He had the great opportunity of teaching his trade to his son who will hopefully continue the TAD name.

A legend

I remember the late John Wright out of Chicago sending me pictures of TAD cues. The long Butt Plate, the intricate feather inlays, the sharp points etc.. Right away I knew TAD cues were special. TAD cues have always been among the best when we talk cues and rightfully so.

Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends.

RIP TAD

My Heartfelt feelings to Tad's family

My feelings and that of my partner's, Michael Langarica go out to the family of a true artist, Mr Tad Kohara. A name that will be known for many years to come. God bless you and help you in these coming days.

Sad to hear of the passing of Mr Kohara. I had met him once back in the late 80's while living in Southern California. He was a very humble gentleman with a great amount of talent. His work and legend will live on.
