Mr. Wilson

Download a program called Irfanview from http://www.irfanview.com/ and it can resize your pics. Very nice tool and works well...best of all it is free!

The best size I have found is 800x600 jpeg. That usually keeps them under 100k limit and still good quality.

Hope this helps.

Trying to post pics , says file is to many kb. How do I fix that?
Thanx ,
J&D

Try reducing the size of the picture. This will reduce the KB.

The later Window XP will allow you to right click on the picture icon and select the size desire. Or you can go to a program call PAINT found in all Window operating system.
Mac OS should be no problem.

Do you have a program such as "Photoshop"?

Size, in kb is limited. Although it may sound small, a very large picture- 10x8 could only be 75kb...or less.

When you click "save file as", it should ask about file size. For Photoshop with pictures for the board, I usually select "low" or size ( quality ) #2.

until I know a little more about the imaging software you have, this is all I can offer.

Microsofts Photo editor or any reputable photo program should allow you to resize the pictures. If you need help, I'd be happy to asisst. Give me a shout in a PM.
