It aint full splice

Well, it sure isn't a short splice! LOL! I can see why many would say it isn't full splice.

Obviously it is a full splice cut short. Definitely produced by full splice methods.

But isn't it strange where the handle is joined? Not a true A joint....out there in the middle of the handle area....


So what is it? :rolleyes:

This looks like a full splice that has been repaired after someones nephew used the pretty stick in his uncles closet as a stick-ball bat and tree tester. The nephew will be missed (by some)

I assume it's like a permanent sneaky Pete joint....Dufferin did it that way with a screw.
....seems like it would move the balance forward, which might be a good thing.
