Mueller’s Sneaky Pete- are they as good as the old cues

The sneaky on Mueller's is $140
The same one at Billiards Warehouse sold as a Scmelke is $120
Direct from Schmelke is $127
That's for a 4 prong Bacote sneaky.
The first cue that I bought was a SP from Billiard Warehouse. I was interested in a Schmelke, I called them for advice and they said get a Players SP. Players was $60 at the time, Schmelke $100+. Later on I had a couple of cues custom made by Schmelke, that Players cue had better points than either of them and a much better shaft.

Ryan built a couple of cues for me around 2006 or 7 when he was at Muller's. One was a full splice becote/BEM. It has a really great hit and he picked a piece of becote that he described as looking like smoke because the growth lines were so tight. It is beautiful.
I would also add that more recently I have had 3 Muller shafts made by Troy for other cues. These shafts are excellent. One was for an old HOF Meucci and Troy matched the elaborate ring work perfectly. All the shafts Mueller's makes come with matching ring work at no extra charge.
