hi all

i need some enlightment from all of you that got an experience with Murray Tucker cue and Sugartree cue. I know there is many of member here that got sugartree and TCW on their collection and many of you have an experience to play with both cue..

right now..i've got a sugartree and randy mobley on my hand ....i really like the hit of my sugartree and although my mobley play really powerfull, it seem to me that it is a very stiff cue, i don't know the reason of it maybe because it's got a stainless steel joint or maybe because the ivory ferules..

anyway, i really want to know how a murray tucker hit comparable with Mobley or Sugartree....can someone help me with the answer...:)

thanks alot:)

tucker player

Tucker cue was my daily player for many years. In that time I owned many other cues, all of them by cuemakers with bigger reputations. Wish I could duplicate that hit, so based on that one cue I say you can't beat a Tucker.

I have a TCW with a SS joint and ivory ferrules. It is not an overly stiff cue. For years, I have been playing with South West, Schick, and Szamboti. All three of those cues are quite stiff, more of a dead feel. I love the feel of all three. The Schick and Szamboti also have SS joints and ivory ferrules. I bought and play with a Tucker because it has a different hit than these other cues. My TCW hit is crisp, but it is anything but dead. Even though it is different than my previous cues, I like it just as much and have become quite attached to it.

You won't regret buying a Tucker.

Have fun,
Greg

I agree, You can't beat the hit of a Tucker! Greg, you're not into inlays, so when your new cue comes in, maybe that ol' Tucker should move to MA with me!! (with that extra shaft I hit with!!!) Vinny
