Music City Open - $7000 added Jan 11-15, 2012

Post tournament action:

If anyone is interested in matching up after the tournament in the days between Music City and Derby City I am looking for players interested in 2 out of 3 race sets to 15 or better. Entry fee is $2,000 min.

I would also be interested in players looking to enter a BIG money 2 man tournament long race of One Pocket. Entry fee of $2,000 min.

There will be perks for the players.

Since I can't attend DCC this year :(, I just booked my hotel via the Americas Best Vaule Inn website and it was $27.99 + tax/night, so this may be a better rate than posted, but you would have to stay for three nights for this rate online; I assume most people would do this anyway. Never been to this event, so this should be very interesting. Now to find a roomie who wants to go from ATL.

I've stayed at two other locations in different states for work and it isn't bad, but expect what you pay for. I would not leave anything valuable in your room. At the ones I stayed at, the access doors in the back were always left open with a brick or stone leaving the door ajar, meaning anyone could wander in. Can't say this area will be different, but this just a heads up.

Yes. Just got my time off switched from DCC to this event without an issue, so I'm all set. Probably call Peg at JOB to pay my entry later this week. BTW, I would like to meet you too. You've done some great streams and always intersested to see the person behind the camera. I'm most intersted in the $500 entry event. Too rich for my blood, but should be some great pool. Last event was BCA Vegas, so need to get some time in on the table. Thank G-D its on 3 1/2x7, as a B+ player, I may be able to win one match. LOL.

Does anyone know if Tenn still allows smoking in food businesses (like pool halls) ? Or has JOB's 'new management' corrected this issue on it own? The last 2 year @ JOB's was rediculas about the amount of smoke in that place... It made people sick it was so bad. The event was action packed BUT... Stupidly Deadly ,,, COUGH HACK (DCC wasn't that much better) .

Hopefully the new management has fixed this issue... The Sport deserves better...

I missed last year, but usually the lower area where the TV table is located is no-smoking. Not sure if that has changed.

The last 2 years I'm almost certain there has been no smoking down in the area of the the tv table.
