Music to My Ears: What are the Best Songs to Play Pool to?

No music, hats facing forward only, no sweatpants, pants must be at the waist or higher.

Men can't wear pink, no slamming the balls, no vulgarity, no nothing.

I agree with 98% of that...... And slamming down a cue like it was the cues falt that you missed??????

I'd like to loop the last 4 Tool albums and just play em over and over. I can really focus when I'm listening to Tool.

Amen to that! Favorite songs of mine are "Sober", "Schism", "Lateralus", "Vicarious," ...heck, just link those last 4 albums/CDs together, play them in "shuffle" mode, and I'm a happy pool player!

When i need to calm down for a match i like something like Pink Floyd ,Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty or the Eagles. But when i need to get up for a match i like loud music like Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot, Tool, and Godsmack. I dont know what it is but i hate to shoot pool in silence. Theres just something about moving around a table with music.

Sober, Bottom and Crawl Away... arguably the three greatest tracks in a row ever.

This thread should be tied in with "how old are you" not knocking anyone, but my music taste have changed over the years....

I'll play. I'll be 45 in March. You're right -- my musical tastes *have* changed over the years.

And you?

P.S.: If you're not knocking anyone, the "how old are you" comment has impeccable timing, considering what posts your post immediately followed.

This is maybe the third thread in as many years on this subject. Anyone seen the search button 'round here ?

Yep... and I use it all the time... for questions that might have a definitive answer.

I'm looking for opinions and peoples likes/dislikes... not a yes or a no.

I'm sure there have been new members join the forum in the past year... I'm one of them. Maybe they will have something interesting to say.

I feel the title of the thread described the subject pretty well. If you are tired of reading about it... don't open it. Just like I don't open any more CTE threads :D

Twist 'n Shout by The Isley Brothers or
something by ZZ Top. ( She's Got Legs or Sharp Dressed Man)
No sh-t these do it for me when playing one hole.

If you play for a serious reason(money, tournament or just to practice) you shouldn't here anything. If you play for fun you can listen whatever you want to.For me the best is alternative(pearl jam,RADIOHEAD etc.) and classic rock(the Clash,Led Zeppelin,AC/DC etc.
MY WAY
