Yeah, you know why? because I saw this cue before!! I saw this thread and then I thought.. damn, i saw this cue before.. but where??? then i thought about it like 10 mins and i remembered that it was on ebay :P

They're pretty much always on Ebay and pretty identifiable on sight.

By all reasonable accounts in the forum by people who have had them they seem to be a good value.

I really don't think their source or manufacture etc is a matter of any deception. There isn't any conspiracy here. No big deal.
